About the maker
Norbar Torque Tools was founded in 1943 in Banbury, Oxfordshire, as the North Bar Tool Company and became Britain's first commercial manufacturer of torque wrenches. It remained under founder Bill Brodey's family for decades before Snap-on Incorporated acquired it in 2017, and torque wrenches remain its core product line.
