About the maker
Atoma is a diamond sharpening plate line made by Tsuboman Co., a Japanese manufacturer founded in 1867 and based in the Hiroshima region. The plates use a perforated base embedded with monocrystalline diamond particles and are sold in a range of grits for waterstone flattening and blade sharpening. Tsuboman also produces other diamond abrasive and cutting tools.
